Friday Night Fringe – Call for Participants

Help Make Friday Night Unforgettable

After a fantastic day of learning at the Speaking Business Summit 2026, Friday evening transforms into our Friday Night Fringe—a relaxed, fun-filled programme created by our members, for our members.

Following the buffet dinner, delegates will be able to choose from a range of entertainment and social activities, moving between sessions throughout the evening as they wish before everyone comes together in the bar to round off the night.

This year’s Fringe will feature three great options:

🎤 Comedy Club

Hosted by Alan Stevens, our Comedy Club is the perfect opportunity for budding comedians and seasoned stand-up performers alike.

If you’ve got a routine you’d love to share—or simply fancy giving stand-up comedy a go—we’d love to hear from you.

🎵 Music Club

Hosted by Susan Heaton-Wright, the Music Club welcomes singers, musicians and anyone who enjoys making music.

Bring your instrument, your voice, or simply your enthusiasm, and be part of an informal evening of live music. Whatever your experience or musical style, everyone is welcome.

🧠 Quiz Club

Prefer a quieter evening? Join our fun quiz, where teams will test their knowledge while enjoying some friendly competition.

There’s no need to volunteer for the quiz—just turn up on the night and join in.

Whether you’re an experienced performer or trying something new in front of a friendly audience, Friday Night Fringe is all about celebrating the talent within our community and creating an evening everyone will remember.
